Greetings from Cma Finland! Year 2015 was quite good to us! We got 4 new full color members on board. So at the time we have 16 full colors. Still biggest group of us is living in Jyväskylä. I am happy that we have five new people coming to our group and again this winter we are training new members. Winter is a good time to get to know new people better and gather at homes and participate member training. Two new members are coming from Oulu region, it´s good to have members in different cities, so we can little by little spread around the country. I joy about the little continuous growth that we have. It´s good that God don´t give us too much members at the time that we have time to bond and get to know each others.
In winter time we try to have meeting on every two weeks, on summer time we have more actions, meetings and of course secular rallies etc. what we are participating.
Last year was colorful, personally I had a lot of work and work is on the way of hobbies☺ so most of the summer my bike was broken and I had no time to fix it. But other guys did many things, they visited on Riga Latvia, to visit local CMA there and participated events there and where encouraging and happy to meet each other.
Highlight of the summer was EMC-Rally 2015, It was held this year in Lohja, Southern Finland. God has blessed Finland with several Christian motorcycle clubs. Gospel Riders is the biggest one of them and had the main responsibility of organizing EMC Rally 2015. Our small CMA team helped where we could. I was happy to witness several CMA International leaders to give a speech at EMC Rally. Mike Fitton from CMA UK, Eddie Fernandes from CMA Portugal, Carlos Laborda from CMA Spain and René Changuion from CMA South Africa each gave a speech at EMC Rally in Lohja.
All the Christian motorcycle clubs in the country have the common mission to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Finnish motorcycling community. We want to see members of CMA Finland to be committed to the organization. The commitment may be painful at times when a change is needed, either a personal or an organizational change. My hope is that even at the time of change we would have the love and forgiveness of Christ to stay and go through the pain, instead of leaving in anger. Of course there may be people moving to another clubs and we cannot use the amount of members as a measurement for the success of the Good News. We want to bless and support our brothers and sisters, even if they decide to leave to follow their calling. Let all our actions promote Christ, the true Leader whose colors we reflect. He makes all the different personalities and Christian organizations united.
I believe that‘s how we could be more united and efficient to our goal Chancing world one heart at a time.
Autumn brought darker colors to my life. October I crashed with my bike and ambulance took me to the hospital. Ten bones were broken, I had internal bleeding from liver and lung damaged. I am really thankful that Lord let me keep my life! I know many of you have prayed for me, it felt amazing to know that so many people was praying for me. Thank you for your prayers they carried me through! Now after four months I just started work again, little lighter but still. Right arm is not 100% well yet, but it can come in good shape and I believe I can ride next summer again. God is wonderful He is with us in every circumstance!
Hebrews 12:1-2 (NIV)
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.
I believe that we can adapt this word to our lives and our ministry. Not just throw things off what hinders us, but first settle the thing if it´s between of us.
God bless you all and your families!
